On 27 July 1854, JEREMIAH DRAPER petitioned to open probate. He stated that Amos had died on 11 June 1854 in Wilna, of a natural death and had made no will.

That SYBEL DRAPER, of full age of Wilna, aforesaid, is the widow of the deceased.
