In the matter of the estate of HENRY MARSHAL of Pamelia, Jefferson Co., NY:
On 4 December 1832, THOMAS G. LEPPER of Pamelia, petitioned to open probate and stated that Henry Marshal died on 30 November 1831; that he came to his death by hanging in his horseshed. Further, Henry died seized of a considerable amount of personal real estate amounting to about two thousand dollars. Henry left no will but he left a widow and nine children, eight of whom were under the age of 21 years.
Heirs/next of kin:
POLLY (MARY) MARSHAL, widow of Henry Marshal deceased. She renounced her right to administrative duties on 4 December 1832, but on 6 December she took the oath of administration with Thomas G. Lepper as co-administrator.
