In the matter of the estate of JOSEPH B. GILLINGHAM of Brownville, Jefferson Co., NY: On 2 May 1854, HOSEA MOFFATT, of Brownville, petitioned to open probate.
JACOB NEWTON of Orleans, Jefferson Co., a minor having no general guardian, was sole heir.
JOSEPH B. GILLINGHAM named his half-brother, JACOB NEWTON, when age 21. Appointed HOSEA MOFFATT as executor. Will dated 3 April 1854.
