In the matter of the estate of Reuben Allen of Wilna, Jeff. Co., NY:
On 21 June 1861, Jabez Weaver of Wilna petitioned to open probate. He stated that he was the guardian of Ira Allen, the son of Reuben Allen. Reuben Allen departed this life on 23 September 1860 at Wilna of a natural death and left no will.
HEIRS/NEXT OF KIN:
Ira Allen of Wilna, the only child of the deceased, a minor, age 9 on 2 April 1861.
Alzina Allen, was the widow of the deceased but who has since departed this life.
