MARTHA R. GATES, of full age, widow of the deceased
SILAS GATES made his will at age 40. Named his wife, MARTHA R. GATES. Named his father and mother, EDWARD and DAMASON GATES. Named his infant children: VINCENT R., EDWARD, DAVID R., ALANSON W, ELIZABETH B. GATES. Requested that his parents and wife, and minor children locate to a homestead held jointly and in common. Left his real estate and personal estate to WILLIAM K. HAWKS and MARTHA R. GATES, as executors. Will dated 12 April 1854.
