On 19 August 1859, OREN BARNS of Pamelia and WINCHESTER JEWETT and MARY JANE JEWETT of LeRay, Jefferson Co., petitioned to open probate for the deceased.

THOMAS FRANKLIN JEWETT, only child of testator and a minor, residing in LeRay
MARY JANE JEWETT of full age of LeRay, widow of deceased
WILL OF THOMAS JEWETT
THOMAS JEWETT named his son, THOMAS F. JEWETT. Named wife, MARY JANE. He appointed ORIN BRANS and WINCHESTER JEWETT as executors. Will dated 12 July 1859.
Witnesses: L. G. HOYT and WILLIAM W. WRIGHT of Watertown, Jefferson Co., NY
Will proved: 19 August 1859.
