In the matter of the estate of William Bonnay of Alexandria, Jeff. Co., NY:
On 1 May 1862, John R. Griswold of Alexandria, Jeff. Co., petitioned to open probate.
HEIRS/NEXT OF KIN:
Petitioner is not informed whether there are any heirs or next of kin of the deceased. Petitioner has not been able to ascertain any heirs in the United States and he left no widow. The deceased came from England to this county and if he has heirs or next of kin they are probably residing in England.
William made his will at age 70. He named John R. Griswold of Alexandria. He made a bequest to St. Peters Episcopal Church of Redwood. He appointed John R. Griswold as sole executor.

Witnesses: M. H. Smith and Anson Harder both residing in Redwood, Jeff. Co., NY
